Job Description Under the direction of the Powerhouse Lead, the P owerhouseor Operater is responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable maintenance and monitoring of the steam generating boilers and related equipment, hot water systems, ammonia refrigeration compressors and related equipment, compressed air equipment, plant vacuum pumps and fire alarm system. Familiarity with basic and advanced hand and power tools including tubing benders, welders, grinders, and sheet metal. Requires maintaining constant compliance of emergency equipment, including the ability to properly wear respiratory equipment (For FIT Test), and maintenance of PPE which requires passing a yearly medical physical. The job expectations are to work from brief verbal as well as moderately complex written instructions.
