Job Summary The Senior Infrastructure Engineer serves as a key contributor in the planning, design, construction, renovation, and delivery of infrastructure across UCSF facilities. This role oversees the build-out, expansion, repair, and modernization of Infrastructure services to support the university's academic, medical, and research missions. Working in close coordination with UCSF departments, project managers, design consultants, vendors, and internal ITS teams, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer provides technical direction and construction oversight for all phases of infrastructure deployment-including low-voltage systems, copper and fiber cabling, endpoint, telephony, DaaS and health care modality installations.
