JOB SUMMARY Prepares detailed designs, redesigns or modifications of parts, assemblies, or other mechanical tooling. Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in designing and documenting a design, including limited design analysis. Operates with minimal supervision and design support. Utilizes computer aided design techniques to perform applicable design and drafting work. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design/CAD programming work to show tolerance dimensions, follow accepted drafting standards and calculations, and provide all shop drawings and paperwork.
