POSITION SUMMARY The Capital Project Engineer serves as a project manager, overseeing the coordination and design of various public improvements and city capital construction projects from conceptual planning, through detailed design, into construction and final completion. These may include: pavement maintenance activities, street reconstruction, utility replacement or rehabilitation, sidewalks, trails & pedestrian ramps, alleys, bridges, drainage, flood & erosion control, parks, and miscellaneous infrastructure repairs.
