Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Provide process engineering support for resolution of process and equipment problems related to food manufacturing, packaging, and distribution. • Provide guidance for construction and execution of protocols for process and qualification trials. • Utilize a Lean Manufacturing approach and employ techniques to reduce waste and inefficiencies. • Drive productivity increases and savings through OEE increase and process variation reduction. • Develop process control steps in collaboration with the Quality department. • Develop best practices and standards that are consistent across the manufacturing facilities. • Support Research & Development and Operations as needed with process data analysis for cost reduction and improvement projects. • Assemble and submit capital project requests as required. • Lead any projects as necessary to support business needs.
