SUMMARY : This position is responsible for analysisand design, contract administration and management of county transportationprojects, and review and monitoring of the geometric design of road improvementelements of development projects to ensure compliance with county requirements. Individuals in this position must be able toread and interpret plans and specifications and be familiar with the Georgia DOT specifications, project bidding andcontracting requirements. The individual must also be familiar with federal,state and local regulations and requirements applicable to federally funded andlocal transportation projects.
