Position Overview
The Coating Technician will be responsible for applying various types of coatings to carbide cutting tools, ensuring quality and consistency in accordance with specifications. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of coating processes, maintenance of coating machine, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare tools for coating by cleaning, organizing, and staging.
Apply coatings using the PVD coating machine.
Ensure proper settings and application of coating materials to meet specifications.
Monitor the coating process and adjust as needed to ensure optimal results.
Inspect coated products for quality, including adherence, thickness, and finish.
Helps manage coated tool inventory products to ensure gaps are covered....
